Summer is over! I'm pretty sure you have had a busy summer with vacations, summer camp or just keeping the activities flowing for your little one to starve their boredom. Whatever the case, it's time to jump back into the routine of going to bed on time, waking up early and making that school bus on time.
Here are a few tips that has helped me to lessen my stress when my children were school age.
🌸Be sure to start getting them to bed early at least a week before school actually starts. This gets that internal clock set. It's less of a fight to get the house calmed down at night when everyone is on a schedule (Mom and Dad included)
🌸Iron and lay out everyones clothes for the week. This keeps the stress down as far as the I don't know what to wear problem.
🌸Make a goal calender for the family to check in on a daily basis. Whether it's educational goals, chore goals or just family goals..WRITE THEM DOWN.
🌸Be sure to go shopping for any lunches or breakfast foods at the beginning of the week. Have everyone jot down what they would personally like which keeps arguments down and everything organized. Prepare everything the night before.
🌸Be sure to set up a nice little homework/study corner for your little one. Be sure there are plenty of pencils, extra paper, crayons, markers or anything else she/he may need for homework or study.
🌸Set out a change/money jar where everyone in the family can add extra money into the jar in the event the children may need a little money for things like pretzel day or book day.. This gives them them the opportunity to go grab what they need so they don't have to remember to ask you.
⭐️Last but not least be sure to schedule some down time with Pamper Me Perfect Mobile Kids Spa for your daughter and her friends. It's a great way to unwind and congratulate the success of a job well done!
